NEWS FLASH !!!! SII BOWLING LEAGUE 2005
ASIA BOWLERS FINISHES AS 1ST RUNNER UP
On Saturday, 13 August 2005 was the Final match against AHA Spice for SII Bowling League .
It was a tough and exciting match for ASIA Bowlers as our worthy opponent was bowling very well in the first game and won 3 points against us .
However we manage to turn around on the second game and won 4 points from them as we were back in our form .
Again on the third game the fight was tough as AHA was trying very hard to knock us out but we manage to beat them with two points .
Finally on the last game we go all out and manage to trash them with another 4 points . The overall points we won against them was 14 – 6 .
ASIA Team finishes with 77 points (accumulated throughout the second round) beating Liberty Insurance by 8 points and just 4 points behind the Champion, Willis Whirlwinds .
I would like to congratulate Philip And Lewis for their fine bowling performance during the League .
Without their Team effort, ASIA could not have became first runner up for the Singapore Insurance Institute Bowling League .
Our reward for the first runner up was a cash prize of S$200.00 which was presented to the Treasurer on the prize presentation day
